If Graham Norton, Judy Garland, Ross Mathews, Cheslea Handler and Johnny Carson all had a baby, you would have Alexander Rodriguez – a renaissance man who will never be caught without his signature matching tie, pocket square, vintage shows and a cocktail (or two in hand).  Alexander exemplifies the show, not easily placed in a category; Alexander is a Latino who can barely order at a Mexican restaurant,a dandy gay man who hasn’t seen the inside of a gym since PE, and a cabaret singer who sings Britney Spears.

This non-conforming talk show host has created a truly astounding assortment of guests with a variety you won’t find anywhere else; Academy Award Winners, Golden Globe Winners, Tony Award Winners, Emmy Award Winners with pop culture headliners – he’s got them all.

Alexander is an entertainer in every sense of the word.  His love of theatre started in ultra-conservative Orange County, raised by a real life Momma Rose, where he discovered his artistic abilities including singing, acting, and dancing and a quick wit, sarcasm and biting one liners that leads even the most serious to a thoroughly enjoyable laugh.  While in Orange County he honed his skills by performing in musical theatre, won numerous singing awards and performed at Segerstrom Center for the Arts with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Heading to LA, he played Charlie Brown at the Roxy in Hollywood to critical acclaim, performed at the Green Hills Memorial Park for over 5,000 guests for the 4th of July Celebration, hosted National MS Society’s “Sky’s the Limit” event, Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s Inner Sanctum, ESpot, Don’t Tell Mama in LA and NY, and Rage Nightclub.  A highlight is the drive-a-thon he produced and performed in with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society, starting in California with performances at hospitals throughout the United States, specifically for the pediatric patients, culminating in a concert performance at Hoogland Performing Arts Center in Springfield, IL.  Alexander has performed his cabaret show at Rockwell Table & Stage four times – an evening of storytelling, audience participation, songs from Broadway and beyond, and lots of vodka.  Alexander has also served as MC for Palm Springs Pride, Out at the Fair New Mexico State Fair, Santa Monica Pride, Cathedral City Pride, Laguna Beach Pride, LE Parties San Diego Pride, Downtown LA Proud Out, Out at the Fair San Diego, and Long Beach Pride Overboard.

He also served as a co-host for LATV's Glitterbomb - the first ever Latinx LGBT national television programming.

He is a writing contributor for GED Magazine, Instinct Magazine and I Love Gay LGBT.

You can find him at every happy hour imaginable, at any hour imaginable.

A truly gifted singer...

Alexander adds just the right amount of sizzle making everyone feel pretty and witty and gay.
